Welcome back to the new calendar year for 2022!

We hope you all got a chance to celebrate the year that was, unwind and reset for the year ahead. For those of us separated by loved ones this year, the holidays coincided with the easing of border restrictions. For the spur: family this meant seeing our dear Lee for the first time since April, seeing parents and siblings since last Christmas.

2021 was just such a year - equal parts joyful and exhausting, equal parts the closing of doors and new beginnings. Though the spur: approach this year was one of calm, we still had a spur: wedding, brought Trish onboard, had a graduation, got a spur: puppy, moved offices, lived through more rounds of Melbourne lockdowns and all the projects in-between.

And if the first couple of months are anything to go off - 2022 is shaping up to look largely the same - lockdowns aside.

We have an exciting announcement coming in February that will be some of the most challenging and impactful work spur: has done. On top of that, we are looking at getting to New Zealand for our values project with BDO New Zealand, including a road trip all around the country and developing our presence in Sydney.

The newly introduced "Local Government Act 2020" requires Victorian Councils to maintain a Community Vision that is developed with its municipal community in accordance with its deliberative engagement practices.

To co-design a 2040 Community Vision for community, with community, using a bespoke deliberative engagement methodology.

The Mansfield Shire Community Vision 2040 was accepted by Mansfield Shire Council on October 20, 2021.
